Tattooing Over Scars

There are many questions ask about tattooing, one famous among all is “can you tattoo over scars?” or “Tattooing over scars is possible or not?” The answer is Yes!!, You can cover the scars with tattoo, but it totally depends on the experience of the tattoo artist who is going to perform the specific task. The main reason behind this is, scar's tissues always do not react with normal skin tissues; the experienced tattoo artist can handle the situation very well.

It has been found that many people advises on the Internet that if the scar is red or a type of angry pink color, you should give a proper time to heal before getting it tattooed. Many times it is a possibility that while tattooing on the scar area client feels nothing or he/she becomes very sensitive while tattooing scar's area.

Many people want to cover the unwanted scars with tattoo so that the weird-looking skin not only looks beautiful but also very fashionable and trendy. It is also one more possibility about scars in women. They are very possessive about scars that accorded during some types of surgeries or accidents, so they don’t wants to clean up that scars with any type's plastic surgery or tattooing to cover it permanently.

In this post on tattooing it’s my loyal try to cover tattoo designs over scars hope it will be more useful to readers having scars.

Getting Tattoo Supplies is Cheaper than You Think

When the tattoo artist looking for reliable tattoo supply the main point comes before his mind that always got top class quality tattoo kits for cheapest possible price.

Many of the suppliers offer the tattoo kits at a cheap rate, but the problem with this is that the tattoo kits that are sold are of very low quality. It’s very bad feeling when you invest some money into a piece of hardware, and it fails during tattooing. That only happens when you look at the money and buy low quality products. The low-quality tattoo kit definitely pulls down your tattooing business forever.

The tattoo guns are plays most important role during tattooing; this is the product you cannot be ignored in case of quality because it directly affects or reflects your works in terms of your skill as well as production quality. So, I personally advice not to compromise in the case of tattoo guns.

While researching on the Internet about cheapest tattoo kits and tattoo supply I come across website http://www.thelashop.com/, which consist of very good deals regarding all types of tattoo products. I have made proper hyperlinks to products, hope that will be more useful for readers. Enjoy tattooing at cheapest rates with quality tattoo supply. Cheers!!

Information about the Tattoo Price

There is one slogan in tattoo industry “A Good Tattoo Is not Cheap and Cheap Tattoo Is Not Good”. But I would like to include my personal opinion that expensive tattoo does not mean it is with high quality.

How a tattoo is priced

There are two basically accepted tattoo pricing methods i.e. flat fee and hourly fee, and both have pros and cons respectively.

Flat fee: In this type of price estimation fixed types of designs like roses, hearts, etc. are decorated on the walls of tattoo shop with an exact price tag on it.  The tattoo price will be varying according to changes and complexity of resized and redesigned tattoo designs.

Pros:  It is very comfortable for customers to fixed budget of tattoo and just go with available tattoo patterns in the tattoo shop. In addition, comparison with fixed rates of tattoos available in different tattoo shops is possible with this type of tattoo price method.

Cons:  As the tattoo has fixed price tag, tattoo artist can say to customer that "This is price just make it or leave it".  As the tattoo design fixed the artist can cover it in hurry and finish the work as early as possible.

Hourly fee: In this type of tattoo price estimation method the fee will be charged according to the time or hours spend to create particular tattoo. The hourly fee tattoo price is varying according to tattoo shops status and tattoo artists experience. Depending upon shop, artist’s experience and quality it has been found that some tattoo shops charged $50 to $60 up to $100 per hour. I have also heard of some artists getting upwards of $200 - $250 per hour.

Pros: This type of pricing method is useful when the tattoo artist has enough experienced and takes only few hours or minuets to complete your tattoo with perfect satisfaction and quality.  It may be possible that some flat tattoo cost less when you go same tattoo design with hourly fee method.

Cons: It may be possible that tattoo artist purposefully extends the time for creating simple tattoo and make it more costly.

Tattoo Machine and Its Different Types

A tattoo machine is a device which is used for a permanent marking of the indelible ink into the skin.  Modern tattoo machines are made up of electromagnetic coils, which move an armature bar up and down in order to push ink into the skin with the help of the needle.

There are many types of tattoo machines, linear and shader tattoo machines are the most common type of machines. Many more types are covered below.

Rotary tattoo machine: This type of machine invented by Manfred Kohrs of Germany in 1978. This is based on rotary technology and modified by tattoo artists through the years. Basically, an electric motor is used to drive the needle.

Coil tattoo machine: This is the most common type of tattoo machine. It is made up of an electromagnetic circuit to move the needle up and down. There are many variations in that from single-coiled machines to triple-coiled machines. These machines are made up of various sizes and different materials. All among coil tattoo machines Dual-tattoo machines are considered as standard.

Liner tattoo machine: The liner tattoo machine used to lay ink in the skin in a single shot to create a dominant line.

Shader tattoo machine:  It is basically used to shade dark or equivalent to black ink. The saturation level of shader tattoo machine is low so other colors also used in this type of machine.

Pneumatic tattoo machine:  It was invented by tattoo artist Carson Hill in 2000. Pneumatic tattoo machine powered by an air compressor, and its weight is very light. The pressurized air is used to drive the needles up and down.
